A Portuguese Night in Hong Kong

The Portuguese are crazy about their food. And they are right: they serve and appriciate great dishes. Especially when combined with nice wines and good company!

Last week Ivone and I were at the "Club Lusitano"; the Portuguese club at Ice House Street in Central - Hong Kong. Amazing! 27 Floors, of which the top 5 for the club. The dinner was on the 27th floor with an amazing view (almost 3 of the walls are complete glass from bottom to top) over Hong Kong Island and the former residence of Hong Kong's governors. On the wall parts of Louis Camoes' "Os Lusiados", on one of the pictures (a better one to follow) you see a bit of it.

As we hoped for, the food was great (Aroz do Pato!). The wines were nice, though not Portuguese as we were on a tasting of New Zealand's wines, but that was more then compensated by the good company. Thanks Gary for the invitation!

Também ficámos com vontade de aí estar, apesar do arroz de pato da Vóvó Milu ser "uma primeira"!
